As a young boy, Danny helped deliver his neighbor's infant daughter, Anna Swann. Despite his various relationships, Danny's always felt that he was destined to marry Anna. Twenty-five years later Danny returns to his hometown and runs into a full-grown Anna. The only problem is that she is already engaged to Eric. Not one to give up on fate, Danny insinuates himself into Anna's family life, which forces him to contend with some rather eccentric characters.
