En route to Memphis, Tenn., on a solemn solo road trip, widower Byron Gruman picks up a disarming hitchhiker who claims to be the late, great Elvis Presley. As Gruman opens up about the loss of his wife, Beatrice, in a tragic car accident, his bizarre passenger becomes a surprisingly powerful source of wisdom and comfort. The duo even picks up a Marilyn Monroe impersonator, Ashley, during the surreal pilgrimage to Graceland.
