Thompson going about his daily activities, this documentary about the self-declared "gonzo" journalist focuses on Thompson's campaign to get a DWI expunged from his record while he works with the team adapting his book "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" for the big screen. Writers like George Plimpton, as well as those involved in the film, such as stars Johnny Depp and Benicio Del Toro, talk frankly about Thompson and his writing.
